Crossroads is a place “Where everyone matters”. That is why we have assembled a team of people who not only are good at what they do, but they are dedicated to ensuring that all persons who receive services from Crossroads can expect to be treated with respect and dignity regardless of gender, age, race, socio-economic background, sexual orientation, religion and non-religion.
We recognize that the decision to seek counselling services is not an easy one. In fact it can be down right intimidating. That is why our administration staff are committed to ensuring that the moment you step through the front door your experience with us is warm and safe.
We have brought together skilled counsellors professionally trained (Masters Degree level) in social work, marriage and family therapy, and/or psychology. All are members in good standing with their professional associations/organizations. We engage in ongoing professional development, peer support and accountability. Working with other agencies, resources, and professionals in our community in a team approach provides each client the best service. Empowering our clients to take responsibility for their well-being, make better decisions, and independently utilize supports and resources in the community, is one of our main goals.
